We have been at work freeze drying our Ranch Carrots,Beans,and Corn we almost forgot about the sweets. Because the humidity is so high and the heat is so hot we can’t do any chocolate items because they will melt so if you see an absence of chocolate items will be back in the winter.

Our next items we are trying are Cake, which is so good, it reminds me of the crumble on muffins. Carmel chews, lucky charm marshmallows and one suprise we are working with to see if they work can anyone guess by the last photo?

Well we did it, it’s not a whole lot but it’s a start. I introduce Pickle powder! Perfect on wings, fries, dips, juices truly anything is possible! Meet the Heart Behind the Brand: Ridge McCall

Ridge McCall is more than a business owner—he is a warrior. Born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), Ridge underwent two heart transplants before the age of 10. As if that wasn’t enough, he suffered three strokes during his recovery, resulting in a diagnosis of vascular dementia. Despite the odds, Ridge remains determined, optimistic, and passionate about his future.

With the support of Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Ridge was able to turn his dream into reality. Through grants, training, and mentorship, he launched Bubba’s Freeze Dried Foods—a company that gives him purpose, independence, and joy. Ridge is a shining example of what’s possible when ability meets opportunity.

What is Freeze Drying?

Freeze drying is a process that removes moisture from food by freezing it and then applying a vacuum. This allows water to sublimate directly from ice to v***r, preserving the structure, nutrients, and flavor of the food.
