Hello friends!
I have been a bit quiet on here, mostly because I'm not the best at social media 😬
But I wanted to let you know my website has been down for an unknown amount of time (again, I'm not good at this stuff!) but a good friend informed me of the issue! And now it is fixed!

I have some exciting news to share! I’ve been accepted to Midwives College of Utah! 🤩

This has been a few years in the making. I felt the call to become a midwife a few years ago, but have been so fearful + unsure. I‘m one of those that can get so caught up in the unknown, the doubts, the everything scary that I’ll put it on the back burner, doing my best to ignore what I believe to be my true calling.

Finally made the decision to move forward a couple months ago and here we are!

I’m nervous, excited and ready to move forward.

Thanks to those that have pushed me to pursue this and will continue to, because you all are the best 🥰

April is Cesarean Awareness Month 🌻

It is a path that most do not choose to go down. I’ve been with clients while they labor for countless hours with the delivery ending in the OR room. I’ve seen clients rushed to the OR, with such urgency.

It is a journey all in its own, but trust me when I say these mamas are tough as nails. I admire them, honor their stories and surround them with love this month (and everyyyyy month) 💜

It's World Doula Week! 🥳

What's a doula you ask? According to DONA, a doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to their client before, during and shortly after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.

AKA your birth team's MVP!🏆 Your doula will have extensive knowledge about not only what your options are at every turn but also have a deep understanding of your history and birth wishes; regardless of who ends up attending your hospital, birth center, or home birth.

And don't worry, your doula is not there to replace your husband/birth partner! They are there to support and equip them as much as you!

If you're on the fence, talk to friends who have had a doula and schedule a free meet n greet with local doulas!

I’m finding ways to be creative over here!

Many hospitals don’t allow diffusers, so I’ve added some passive diffusers to my doula bag. Clay stones and felt!

I’m a big believer in the power of our sense of smell and love to bring essentials oils to my clients in labor. I’m excited to try these cuties out soon! 😍
