Hello friends!

Lets begin with something that I want you to know about me… I believe in your ability to change.

The next thing you need to know is…. Change requires effort from YOU. If you aren’t doing the work… if YOU aren’t putting in the effort; nothing is ever going to improve.

The good news is, you recognize that change is necessary. You’re THERE, that’s why you’re

HERE! (Yes! Here. Reading this!) Let me ask you a question…

Do you feel stuck? That’s because you’ve outgrown your current circumstances, but you’re afraid to take the steps that lead to the next chapter.

That’s where I come in! I can teach you how to share your space with the uncomfortable things in life. How to hold all of your feelings and relationships loosely and allow for the space that you need in order to continue to grow and evolve into the happiest, most authentic version of yourself!

Our relationship is based on trust and belief. I believe in you. I will tell you that I’m proud of you, and why. (Because you should know that someone is cheering for you!) I’ll also tell you when it might serve you to see things from another perspective (because telling you that you’re always right isn’t going to help you grow). I’ll challenge you, because I know that you can handle that!

Let’s talk about my specialties and experiences.

I possess a BA in Leadership from Bethel University and a Masters in Science Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. I started practicing with Parasol Wellness Collaborative in 2024, and I offer a very relaxed and supportive environment, where you feel safe to open up and let things go.

I help a lot of people with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, Autism Spectrum

Disorder (level 1), obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (complex and otherwise), childhood trauma, low self-esteem, eating disorders, and more.

I see individuals ages 12 and up, on telehealth and out of our Otsego office.

I am also the owner and founder of Experience Counseling LLC, and I PROUDLY partner with Parasol Wellness Collaborative as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist and Director of Recruitment (bringing you even more amazing therapists to help you navigate life’s crap!)

If you’d like to get started and schedule an in-person or telehealth appointment, I have immediate openings and I’d love to meet you!

I’ve had a lot of people ask me recently, “What can I do to help change things? I feel so powerless.”

Let me tell you something….

You are NOT powerless.

Here are a few things that Googles AI bot came up with on how you can make both direct and indirect impacts on the current crisis in Minnesota.

Supporting immigrant families in Minnesota can be done through donating to legal aid and community organizations, volunteering, providing direct mutual aid, and advocating for policy changes.
Key organizations to support include the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota, International Institute of Minnesota, and the Women's Foundation of Minnesota.

Key Ways to Support Immigrant Families in MN:
Donate to Direct Support & Legal Aid:
Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM): Provides legal services to low-income immigrants and refugees.

International Institute of Minnesota (IIMN): Offers services for refugees, including housing, education, and employment support.

Immigrant Rapid Response Fund (IRRF): A fund by the Women's Foundation of Minnesota that provides emergency assistance.

Mutual Aid Networks: Support grassroots groups like "Stand With Minnesota" and "Neighbors without Borders" that provide direct aid, including food, household essentials, and rent relief.

Legal Defense Funds: Donate to pay immigration bonds for those detained by ICE.

Volunteer Your Time:

IIMN: Needs volunteers for tutoring, mentoring, and administrative tasks.

Legal Services: Volunteer with the Volunteer Lawyers Network.

Direct Aid: Assist with food drives, such as the Eastside Mutual Aid.

Advocacy and Education:
Know Your Rights: Share "Know Your Rights" information, often provided by organizations like ILCM, to help families prepare for interactions with immigration authorities.

Contact Representatives: Call state and local officials to support policies that protect and fund services for immigrants.

Stand in Solidarity: Participate in peaceful demonstrations and use your voice to advocate against anti-immigrant actions.

Provide Direct Community Support:

Get to know your neighbors, offer help with transportation or groceries, and connect them with local resources.

Support immigrant-owned businesses and restaurants

Everything you do to use your voice for the voiceless matter ♥️♥️♥️

Summers can be hard; kids are home for the next 3 months.

Suddenly there’s more dishes, less groceries, more mess, less patience, and more stress without more support.

You need an outlet. Someone to vent to who understands and relates.

You need a quiet, private, comfortable place that you can go, and safely let all of your thoughts escape your brain! Somewhere that invites you to take the heavy load off of your shoulders and someone to assure you that you don’t have to pick it back up again.

I’m here to provide that outlet; that assurance.

But beyond that, I’m here to help you learn the skills and tools that help you reduce your stress by processing it in a healthy way.

I’m finally opening my Wednesday afternoons to see clients in-person and on Telehealth.

I have Wednesdays at 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm available starting June 4th 😊

If you’ve been to therapy in the past, have thought about going but haven’t taken the leap, or are just now... on THIS post, realizing that you need someone to talk to; reach out.

I’d love to talk to you about working together!
