We are thrilled to share that our $10,000 grant request to the Community Foundation of Elkhart County has been approved, funding two new freezers and three refrigerators to safely store vaccines.

This support through the Well Foundation allows us to upgrade and expand our cold storage capacity, ensuring more vaccines are safely stored and ready when needed. This is a critical investment in local health and prevention as we enter flu season.

Today’s Veterans Day service at Rice Cemetery was a moving tribute to those who have served our country and we’re proud that one of our own, Willie Brown, was the featured speaker.

Willie’s words captured the heart of the day. A reminder that the legacy of our veterans is built on commitment, courage, and community.

This week was Spirit Week at Heart City Health and our team showed up! Not just for the themes (although…the commitment was real), but for each other, our patients, and the community we serve every day.

From mismatched chaos on Monday, to jerseys and pep on Tuesday, to cozy PJ day mid-week, throwback decades fits on Thursday, and a full Halloween takeover today…our crew brought the SPIRIT.

Working in healthcare takes heart. And this team? They’ve got a lot of it. They lead with care and know how to have fun along the way.

A team member since day one, Cindy helped shape who we are today. From our Benham beginnings in 1995 through her retirement in 2016, she served with steadiness, compassion, and heart. Cindy was deeply involved in the community and always willing to lend a hand.
