Yesterday, we were honored to attend the blessing and ribbon-cutting for the new CHRISTUS Emergency Room and Micro-Hospital here in Palestine. It was truly an exciting day for our community.

At Avir at Elkhart, we were thrilled to see this incredible addition to local healthcare. Having expanded emergency and hospital services right here at home means greater access, faster care, and added peace of mind for our residents, their families, and all of Anderson County.

We were grateful to CHRISTUS Health for investing in our community and helping strengthen the network of care that supports our neighbors and loved ones. Yesterday truly marked a positive step forward for Palestine and the surrounding areas, and we are excited to see the impact this facility will have for years to come. 💜🏥

During this ice storm, our hearts are full of gratitude for the incredible staff at Avir at Elkhart. While roads are dangerous and conditions are tough, our team has showed up, stayed late, and went above and beyond to make sure our residents are safe, comfortable, and cared for.

We truly appreciate every nurse, CNA, dietary team member, housekeeper, and support staff member who has been working through the storm. You are the heart of Avir at Elkhart, and we are so thankful for you. 💛👏

Last Friday was a wonderful reminder of the power of community. As Marketing Director for Avir at Elkhart and a proud member of the Health Advisory of Anderson County, Megan Bear was honored to support the Beans & Cornbread Fundraiser Lunch benefiting Tri-County Meals on Wheels.

HAAC members came together to serve and deliver meals, with all proceeds supporting Meals on Wheels and the vital services they provide to our neighbors. When community partners unite, meaningful impact follows. 💛
