Do you use a to-do list? If you do, it can feel so liberating to mark something off as completed. If you don't, it would be good to consider using one...when our list is in our heads, it can feel overwhelming and much is left unaccomplished.

We are halfway through the work week. How are you holding up this week? When we start appreciating what we have, instead of things we don't, we start building a practice of gratitude. Think of 3 things you're grateful for each day and make that a daily habit. It will vastly improve your outlook.

Often adults get bogged down in the mundane requirements of life, forgoing the things they used to enjoy. What are some things you enjoy that you haven't been doing because of lack of time, energy, or finances? My advice is to take small steps to build in enjoyable activities in your week...it can greatly improve your mental outlook and attitude. Be intentional.

This time of year can be hard for many. Things you can do to boost your mood: exercise, dance to your favorite music, find things to make you laugh, eat food that makes your body feel good, lean into your faith, love on your people, and do something good with your finances.
