We found a foster for Ralphie but we need your help again…

Meet Edwin and Winston

In early spring an SUV was observed slowing down in a municipal park near Raleigh, opening the side door and dumping two bassets. 7 yr. old Edwin and his 5 yr. old son, Winston were dumped in the park and the owner drove off. A lady close by tried to take a photo of their license plate but the SUV sped off too quickly. She gathered the boys up and took them to her home where she operated a kennel. She tried to locate the owners but to no avail. She did not have room to keep them and contacted the CBHR and we rescued them. They are bonded and need to be kept together. They are very sweet dogs with no aggression whatsoever but they are in the final stages of heartworm treatment. If anyone has a calm environment and would be interested in fostering these boys please DM us, fill out an application
