These individuals are the most recent graduates of our intensive-three week in-patient program. Completion of our 20th “cohort,” as we call them, solidifies MRIBH as a nationally recognized, growing center for trusted care in the treatment of persistent concussion (mTBI) for veterans and first responders. For most of our graduates, completion of the program provides them with a new outlook on life. Before starting the 3-week intensive outpatient program (IOP), patients struggled with basic daily activities like driving or grocery shopping. At commencement, greater than 98% of patients report an improved impression of themselves. Many remain connected to the program, through alumni meetings or volunteering, wanting to give back.

This summer marks two years that we’ve had the privilege and honor of providing Veterans and First Responders with life-changing care for their traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and concussions.
After years of searching for effective treatment for debilitating TBI symptoms, Jaime had almost given up hope he’d ever feel better. Then he found the MossRehab Institute for Brain Health.

This American flag was created in art therapy by a patient participating in our comprehensive brain injury rehabilitation. It reminds us that today, and always, we honor the individuals who bravely served and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. This year, please consider reaching out to a veteran, as Memorial Day can spark some particularly tough memories, or a loved one of a service member lost to war – whether on the battlefield or from invisible wounds. Thank them for sharing their hero.
