Think You Drink Enough Water? You Might Still Be Dehydrated đź’§
Hydration isn’t just about how much water you drink, it’s also about your body absorbing and using those fluids properly. Even mild dehydration (as little as 1–2% fluid loss) can affect your energy, mood, and focus, even if you feel like you’re drinking water throughout the day.
Here are some less obvious signs of dehydration:
✔️ Fatigue or feeling drained
✔️ Headaches or brain fog
✔️ Dark or low urine output
✔️ Dry mouth or lips
✔️ Dizziness or light-headedness
✔️ Trouble concentrating
✔️ Irritability or mood changes
These can show up before classic thirst kicks in, meaning your body may already be running low on fluids even if you’re sipping water.
Tip: Your hydration comes from both fluids and foods (like fruits and veggies). The color of your urine (pale yellow = good) is a quick at-home check.
