Thank you to Speaker Adrienne Jones and the District 3 delegation—Senator Karen Lewis Young and Delegates Delegate Kris Fair, Delegate Ken Kerr, and Delegate Karen Simpson—for touring Frederick Health this week.
Together with Frederick Health President and CEO Dr. Cheryl Cioffi DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE and our President and CEO Melony Griffith, we saw the incredible work of Frederick Health’s 3,400 dedicated employees. The hospital is meeting the needs of a growing community, caring for more than 71,000 patients a year—including through the fourth-busiest emergency department in Maryland.
The visit included the emergency department, labor and delivery, and a look at the new construction that will strengthen care for moms and newborns.
