A few quick Q&As with Dr. Allison 👉
Can you tell us more about your role at FXPT?
I've been part of the FX Physical Therapy team in Severna Park for three years and have served as our ACL Program Lead for the past year. In that role, I've helped enhance our return-to-sport pathway and elevate our standard of care across the company.
What do you enjoy working on ACL injury prevention, particularly for young female athletes?
I'm inspired by the need for more education, support, and injury prevention resources for young female athletes. My focus is on helping them reduce injury risk while performing at their best.
What can athletes expect at the upcoming opening of REPS?
REPS is a community-centered training facility focused on structured strength training, movement quality, and intentional progression. Athletes are thoroughly assessed, coached with precision, and progressed in a way that supports both performance and long-term health. I'm excited for this opportunity to lead the way and make a meaningful impact on the next generation of female athletes.
