In anticipation of the upcoming winter storm, Family Healthcare of Elkton will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Although our office will be closed, our team will remain available to care for patients virtually and to answer any questions or concerns during normal business hours.

Our staff are actively working to contact patients who are scheduled for Monday to transition their appointments to virtual visits.

Big news — our move to our new EMR, athenahealth, officially begins Monday, August 11!

This marks the start of an exciting new chapter for Family Healthcare of Elkton, as we partner with trüHealthNow and proudly join their network of practices. With their support, we’re enhancing the services while keeping the same trusted care you know and love.

What this means for your ongoing care:
* Same Care Team: Your providers, location, and hours stay unchanged.
* More Convenience: You’ll enjoy digital check-ins, online scheduling, secure payments, and a new patient portal.
* Expanded Services: Including virtual care, behavioral health, and chronic care programs.
* Personalized Support: Our front desk team is here to assist you with the new check-in process and answer any questions.
* Billing Update: Starting August 11, 2025, all services at Family Healthcare of Elkton will be billed through Manbir Takhar PC (dba trü Primary Care), the billing affiliate of trüHealthNow. This administrative change will be reflected on your insurance claims and billing statements, but your care team will remain exactly the same.

Exciting news — we’re upgrading our systems to serve you better!

Starting in mid-August, we’re moving to a new Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platform, Athenahealth, to make your care even more convenient. You’ll soon be able to check in digitally, schedule appointments online, make secure payments, and access your health records through a new patient portal — all with the same care team you know and trust.

We’re also proud to announce our partnership with truHealthNow, a leading growth and support organization for medical practices that will help us bring these improvements to life. While you may see the truHealthNow name on communications, your care remains with the same trusted providers at Family Healthcare of Elkton.
