Nothing but smiles, cheers, and a little friendly competition last weekend! 🏀🎯

Our residents had a blast showing off their skills in basketball and cornhole—there were some impressive shots and lots of laughter along the way! From cheering each other on to celebrating every win (and even the misses), it was all about having fun together!

🌟 Looking for Entertainer Volunteers! 🌟

Our residents at Rose Garden Senior Living are looking to enjoy some fun and engaging entertainment, and we’d love your help!

Do you know any local musicians, singers, performers, craft/artisan hobbyist, Euchre players that would be interested in volunteering and/or sharing their talent with our community? We’re always excited to welcome new faces who can bring joy, music, laughter, and connection to our residents.

Whether it’s live music, classic tunes, church groups, school groups, playing games (we need more Euchre players!) hobby clubs, or individuals who simply love spending time with seniors—we welcome all kinds of entertainment and activity ideas, big or small!

A big thank you to Devin from Seasons Change Home Health Care, Hospice, and Private Duty for coming out to play bingo with our residents again this month. It’s one of their favorite activities, and they always have such a great time!

Our residents had such a fun-filled weekend celebrating with an Easter Egg hunt throughout the building—eggs were hidden all weekend long for everyone to find! 🥚✨

What a fun surprise for our residents! 🐰🐥

A big THANK YOU to the Huron Youth Center for hopping in on Saturday, with a special visit from the Easter Bunny and his adorable sidekick, Peep the Chick! The smiles, laughter, and excitement filled the whole building 💛

And to top it all off, each resident received a goodie bag of treats! 🍬 Talk about a sweet day!

We are so grateful for your kindness and for making our residents’ day extra special!

Our home is all decked out in green and ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style! From shamrocks lining the halls to our festive dining room and lucky little display, the spirit of the holiday is everywhere 💚

And of course, we celebrated with a delicious meal of corned beef & cabbage! 🥬🥔

Our residents got to enjoy a colorful salad bar full of fresh veggies, toppings, and treats. Who says healthy can’t be fun? 💚

💛 In Loving Memory of Our Ray of Sunshine, Shirley 💛

Shirley truly was a ray of sunshine in our home. She always had a smile on her face and a special way of putting a smile on anyone else’s. Her laughter filled the halls, her jokes brightened our spirits, and her warmth made everyone feel welcome.

You could never leave Shirley’s room empty-handed; she made sure you had a handful of candy and a little extra sweetness to carry with you. That was just who she was: kind, thoughtful, and always thinking of others.

Shirley’s joy was contagious, and her light will continue to shine in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all of us at Rose Garden. 🤍
