🤗 National Hugging Day 🤗

Today is a reminder of the power of connection.
A hug can bring comfort, hope, and reassurance—sometimes without saying a word.

At Voices of Hope, we believe in showing up for one another and reminding people they’re not alone. If you can, share a hug today—or a kind word, a smile, or support. 💙

Do you know how easy it is to save a life?
It starts with carrying Narcan.

Overdoses can happen anywhere—at home, in public, to someone you love or someone you’ve never met. Narcan is safe, easy to use, and can reverse an opioid overdose in minutes. You don’t need medical training—just the willingness to help.

At Voices of Hope, we believe everyone deserves a chance to live. That’s why we offer free Narcan training and Narcan kits to our community.

👉 Sign up for a Narcan training at
🌐 https://www.voicesofhopemaryland.org

Learn how to recognize an overdose, how to respond, and how to use Narcan with confidence.

📍 Pick up Narcan at any Voices of Hope location
💙 Carry it. Share it. Be ready to use it if you need to.

Because saving a life really can be this easy.

🌟 Representing Voices of Hope in Annapolis! 🌟

This week, we were honored to have our Programs Manager Aaron Wright and Cecil Shift Supervisor Catharine Murray attend Cecil Night in Annapolis, hosted by the Cecil County Chamber of Commerce.

It was a meaningful evening connecting with fellow Cecil County leaders and meeting with our representatives. Building and maintaining strong relationships with our elected officials is a vital part of our work as a nonprofit — it helps ensure we can continue providing services and support to our community.

Thank you to everyone who made the evening possible!
