For ten years, Voices of Hope has been built on moments—moments of courage, healing, connection, and hope.

Today, we’re honored to share Part 1 of a deeply meaningful 3-part video series featuring our COO and General Programs Manager, who have walked this journey for the past decade. Through their voices, you’ll hear the heart behind our mission, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the lives that have forever shaped this work.

This series is more than a reflection—it’s a tribute. A tribute to every story shared, every life touched, and every step taken toward hope.

As we prepare for our Decade of Hope Banquet coming up on May 8th, we dedicate this series to our community—because none of this would be possible without you. 💙

Take a moment to watch, feel, and remember why this work matters.

✨ Part 2 is coming soon…

The peer team in Harford County had a very artistic night during their team-building event with Make a Masterpiece, LLC Paint Parties, Wood Signs, DIY Kits. Hilarie guided everyone through the creation of wonderful pieces of art. We laughed a lot and made a mess, but it was certainly something we needed. Hilarie, thank you, and to our Program Director for putting this all together – we loved the entire night!

🧶✨ Our first Knitting Night at the Cecil Center was a stitching success! ✨🧶

This past Saturday, we gathered for our very first knitting night—and wow, what an incredible experience! It was so special to see everyone come together to learn something new while building genuine connections along the way. 💛

There’s something magical about knitting… it’s more than just creating something beautiful—it’s about slowing down, finding a moment of calm, and enjoying the simple joy of making something with your own two hands. The room was filled with creativity, laughter, and a peaceful energy that made the night truly unforgettable.

The best part? We’re just getting started! 🧵
This group will meet once a month, creating a welcoming space to keep learning, crafting, and supporting one another.

A huge THANK YOU to Ms. Barb for leading such a wonderful class—we can’t wait for the next one! 🙌

Missed this one? No worries! Join us for our next knitting night on May 2nd—we’d love to have you there! 🧶💫
