We’re so excited to announce our next Paint and Sip at Lost Forest, hosted once again by the amazing Sydney from Artistic Mind! 🎨✨

Join us Saturday, January 17th, 2026 at 7 PM for another fun, relaxed night of painting, sipping, and hanging out with great people. Sydney will be guiding everyone step by step, so whether you’ve painted before or not, you’ll leave with something you’re proud of and a really good time.

$35 per person! Includes all the art supplies and one free nonalcoholic beverage! Spots will be limited, so keep an eye out for sign-up details coming soon. We can’t wait to do this again with you all! 💚🌲

New this year at the Fort de Chartres Colonial Market Faire, 2026 - battle re-enactments! There will be a night battle Saturday evening, April 11, and a battle Sunday morning, April 12, both in the big open space at the front of the fort. This is in addition to a Billiard Hall, Voyageur Games, shooting competitions, gun raffle, and some of the very best 18th century style sutlers in the country. There might even be food trucks in the visitor parking area, too.

There will be so much to see and do at this event!!! Participants and visitors alike, you don't want to miss it!

A note to any re-enactors that might want to camp at the event - the application package will be available a few days, on FB and in e-mails and text messages to past participants, so keep an eye open for it!
