🎉Congratulations to Rachael Brock PA-C, our Employee of the Quarter for West Valley.🎉
Rachael is originally from West Virginia but lived in Alaska for 25 years before moving to Yakima. Those who know her best would describe her a caring, empathetic, and adventurous. She was inspired to practice medicine by working with her father who is a doctor. She loves helping others and is most proud of growing through perseverance and resiliency. She says our staff makes this a great place to work because they are uplifting and positive. Outside of work Rachael enjoys kayaking, fishing, hiking, and exploring new places. Her favorite hobbies are gardening, painting, and playing with her dog. She hopes to visit Europe some day.

Mari, originally from Toppen*sh, says her friends would describe her as compassionate, faithful, and empathetic which we would all agree! She is most proud of her achievements as a mother having raised three amazing adult children. She says that what drew her to medicine is truly caring for and helping others and knowing that what we do makes a difference. The best thing about working with us is her coworkers who welcomed her with open arms and feel like part of her family. :hugging_face: Outside of her work in medicine she is dedicated to her work with the church and her husband who has pastored there for over 20 years. Her favorite hobby lately is spending time with her 2yo granddaughter. She dreams of enriching her spirit by returning to Israel some day.

Ellie is originally from Wenatchee but has lived in Ellensburg since 2012. Her friends would describe her as silly, honest, and kind and her coworkers all say she is fun to work with. Ellie is most proud of living boldly by trying new things and making the most of life. :+1: She is drawn to the science and art of medicine and truly enjoys supporting and helping people in her work. Ellie says she loves the environment and the folks she works with who make her laugh and thrive. She is a busy bee outside of work and spends her time doing interesting things like hiking, crafting, rock & crystal collecting. She is even fixing up a sail boat and learning to sail. I am sure we will all be with her in spirit when she sails away to a dreamy place like New Zealand some day.
