You don't need a 12-step routine! You just need a few of the RIGHT steps. We aren't reaching for perfection, we are striving for consistency for the long haul. What does that look like, you ask?
1. CLEANSE
Dana's Advice: Cleanse at night for a clean face, tone in the AM, feels so refreshing!
If dealing with acne, must cleanse twice daily.
2. TREAT
Dana's Advice: New clients, we treat to improve skin health and then address specific concerns. Start low, go slow is our motto.
3. MOISTURIZE
Dana's Advice: It is SO important to use a high quality moisturizer, especially in Kittitas County with our DRY air. Dry skin ages the fastest so make sure your skin stays hydrated. I have moisturizers and oils I can suggest for your skin.
4. PROTECT
Dana's Advice: People think that they only need sunscreen when they're outside in the sun. WRONG! We need sunscreen when we get out of bed and expose our skin to light. There is UV radiation in the lights in our home, cell phones, TV, tablet, computer. That is just indoors! I have two great sunscreens. No chemicals. I will not carry chemical SPF's. Physical block only!
This is your foundation. Keep it simple. Don't overcomplicate things. Do what I KNOW WORKS and stick with it. This delivers the best results.
