Skin tags, medically known as acrochordons, are small, benign growths that appear on the skin. They are typically flesh-colored or slightly darker and have a soft, smooth texture. Skin tags often occur in areas where the skin folds or rubs against itself, such as the neck, armpits, groin, eyelids, and under the breasts.

They are composed of collagen fibers and blood vessels and are usually painless, although they can sometimes become irritated or snagged on clothing or jewelry or snagged when shaving.

Hi Everyone! My name is Tiffany and I am a certified Master Aesthetician and Cosmetic Laser Technician. I grew up with a passion for skin and all of its anatomy and components.
