Ellenville Regional Hospital’s Community Wellness Program delivers this mission by using a comprehensive four pillar approach to improve overall health. The four pillars are based upon services that increase exercise, improve nutrition, reduce health care risks, and provide support for Social Determinates of Health. With our current grant programs, we are offering services in all of the four pillars at no cost to the community. ❤️Happy Heart Month!

The ERH team proudly wore red in support of Wear Red Day to raise awareness about women’s heart health. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women, yet it’s often preventable with education, early detection, and healthy lifestyle choices. By wearing red, we stand together for our patients, our community, and each other—because every heartbeat matters, today and every day.

We’re proud to share that our AHA Lotto Board raised over $1,000 for the American Heart Association! This success wouldn’t be possible without the amazing support of our ERH staff and community. Congratulations to our winners—and thank you for helping us make a real difference for heart health

Congratulations to our Employee of the Month, Courtney Jollie!

"I am honored to nominate Courtney Jollie for Employee of the Month. In just her first year at RHN, Courtney has exemplified the excellence and dedication this award represents.

She has transformed the Nutrition Program by implementing evidence-based practices that elevate patient care and strengthen public trust. Courtney also streamlined record-keeping systems, improving efficiency and accessibility for reporting.

Her innovation includes the creation of an online nutrition screening tool that effectively connects patients to full consultations. Most importantly, her work delivers real results. One notable case involved an 18-year-old student who, under Courtney’s guidance, lost nearly 30 pounds in four months. By engaging the entire family in nutrition education, Courtney improved not only physical health but confidence and overall well-being—demonstrating her holistic and compassionate approach to care."

Our Story

What We Do The mission of the Ellenville Regional Rural Health Network (ERRHN) is to promote the improved health and health equity of our rural community through increasing access to services, and enhancing the local health and human service workforce.

The Rural Health Network Wellness Program is available at no cost to individuals and families with increased risk of cardiovascular and other chronic diseases. The program offers supportive resources such as a Community Health Worker, Nutritionist, Cardiac Wellness Rehab, Calcium Scoring Cat Scan, and Carotid Ultrasounds, among a number of other physical, nutritional, and educational classes.

Project RESCUE assists individuals in need to navigate their treatment and recovery journey. We can provide 24/7 Medication Assisted Recovery (Buprenorphine) in the Emergency Department, with a warm hand off to a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate and transition into treatment. We can also help with questions about accessing treatment, help finding the right treatment center, finding a way to sign up for insurance, etc.

We implement these programs in our Community with Grant funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration, Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), and the Bureau of Justice Assistance.
