Dental hygiene is an important habit for children to learn at a very young age. Kids who are exposed to healthy oral care, including practices like teeth brushing, flossing, rinsing and visiting a dentist regularly, are more likely to grow up to be adults with healthy mouths and also healthier lives!

February is Gum Disease Awareness Month.
Early signs of gum disease include red or swollen gums, foul breath or taste, tender or bleeding gums, uncomfortable eating, loose teeth, sensitive teeth, and receding gums. Gum diseases can be avoided by practicing good oral hygiene (brushing twice daily), flossing on a regular basis, using antimicrobial mouthwashes, eating a nutritious diet, not smoking, drinking alcohol, or using to***co, and visiting the dentist on a regular basis.

I’ve been going to Dr Walden my entire life. I moved 2 hours away and made an appointment at a new dentist, which was a huge mistake. That new dentist tried to tell me I had like 13 cavities that all needed to be worked on, which would have costed me about $2,000. Dr Walden was able to give me a second opinion which was completely different than that other doctor who was just trying to scam me. All I’m saying is that Dr Walden, Amber, Glenda, and everyone else here is so great that I travel two hours just to see them. I won’t trust anyone else with my teeth now. They were there when I lost my first tooth, put on my braces, filled my first cavity, and will hopefully still be around to help my own children. If you need an ethical, professional, caring, trustworthy, and affordable dentist, go here. They accept most forms of insurance as well!! 11/10 recommend.
