WOW, what a gorgeous day for Area 10's Fall Stuff-a-Bus, which we need so badly! When planning this event, there wasn't an IU ball game scheduled. Aside from some student volunteers bailing, we had AMAZING turnout from IU and Community Volunteers, local business partners, and Kroger shoppers across Bloomington. We'll add more pictures later as well as the official count, when we have time to pull that together Monday, but we wanted to share some of the positive vibes, smiles, hugs, and collective spirit of giving to warm your hearts. This community never ceases to amaze me. Thank you ALL for SHOWING UP for our homebound seniors in Monroe and Owen Counties!

Hi everyone,

Area 10 and RSVP would like to shine a light on the contributions of an older volunteer in your organization!

We are seeking nominations through November 10, 2025, for our next Volunteer Spotlight. We put their picture in the paper with a short blurb about their volunteer service and your organization!

Nominees should be at least 55 years of age, reside in Owen or Monroe county, Indiana, and be willing to be honored in this way and have their picture taken.

BIG shout out of THANKS to the great folks at SouthernCare for raising well over 1,000 pounds of food for our Mobile Food Pantry!!! Through community barrel collections, we're squeaking by with our regular pantry operations and holding out for our next Stuff-a-Bus food-raising event 11/15.
