After an incredible 2025 of Memory Café, we celebrated our first café of 2026, and what an amazing turnout it was!
Thank you to Colleen and Sarah of Winter Growth, Inc. for your support and sponsorship of last night’s event. As always, the Mission BBQ was devoured.

Memory Café provides a welcoming, supportive space for family caregivers and individuals living with Alzheimer’s or related dementias. The Howard County Memory Café continues to grow and remains one of our favorite events each month. Right at Home couldn’t be more proud to begin our 14th year helping to make this special community possible.

If you are a caregiver supporting a loved one with a memory-related impairment, we invite you to join us. We meet the first Wednesday of every month and look forward to seeing everyone on February 4th!

Last night, we were honored to bring Dementia Live to the beautiful Brighton Gardens of Columbia, Sunrise Senior Living. The session provides valuable perspective on the challenges faced by individuals living with dementia, including a live scenario where loved ones are placed in the shoes of those experiencing the condition.

Thank you to Jasmine and Toni for hosting the event, and to Dementia Nurse Andrea for providing such a meaningful and informative presentation.

On Friday, we held our annual holiday party for our caregivers. It is one of our favorite days of the year and a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the people who truly make Right at Home possible. Congratulations to our Caregiver of the Year, Abby, and our “Rockstar in the Making,” Nicole. We were also thrilled to have some of our amazing clients stop by and join in the celebration. Thank you to all of our caregivers for the exceptional care you provide to our clients every day.

Jenny Wyatt-Fox, one of our wonderful caregivers, suggested a clothing drive to support people in need this winter, and we are all in!

Donate coats, jackets, hats, gloves, or scarves at our office anytime before December 20, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Jenny will personally deliver the items to a local homeless shelter. Thank you Jenny for all you do for our clients, and for this thoughtful idea!
