Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant-An LSMMD Community Together, we can create the life you want, filled with fitness, relaxation, fine dining and more. Today, nearly 350 older adults call LVMG home.

Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant in Howard County welcomed its first residents in 2016. The community provided person-centered care and opportunities for residents to live the best life possible, and partners with community and educational organizations that share a passion for service and support for older adults. The care continuum allows residents access to on-site health care. LVMG is a Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland community.

We’re excited to share a look inside our future Memory Care neighborhood—designed with purpose, safety, and comfort at every step.

Families can personalize skylight boxes outside each residence with a photo slideshow that helps loved ones recognize their room through familiar faces and meaningful memories.

Our community also features circadian lighting that gently shifts throughout the day to simulate natural sunlight. This supports better sleep, reduces agitation, and boosts overall mood. Soft nighttime lighting keeps residents safe and oriented as they move throughout the neighborhood.

Inside, you’ll find spacious residences with a mini-kitchenette, including a mini-fridge, sink, and microwave—all designed to support independence.

Every detail was intentionally chosen to improve mood, provide cognitive stimulation, and enhance quality of life for those living with memory impairment.

Our residents had a spooktacular time this Halloween! They dressed up in their favorite costumes, danced, and sang along with Mr. Charisma to lively 1950s hits and classic Halloween tunes.

One of the highlights? Our Guess the Staff Member game — residents tried to identify our team members from photos of them in their childhood Halloween costumes!

What an unforgettable evening of music at LVMG! The crowd overflowed from Zest into the Bistro, captivated by an incredible lineup of talent.

New resident Tom Benjamin wowed on clarinet alongside Dave and Sue Pumplin, while Rene LeClaire, who recently joined the chorus, delivered a stunning first solo performance. The evening was further enriched by the talents of Marlee Lindon, Margaret Pratila and Rachael Wade.

What a fun and memorable event! Our resident-led Employee Appreciation Committee recently hosted a special gathering for our leadership team. Everyone enjoyed delicious food and a lively “Getting to Know You” activity — filled with laughs, surprises and great conversation as we guessed fun facts and experiences about one another.

It was a wonderful reminder of the strong sense of community and connection that makes Miller's Grant such a great place to work and live!
