What a difference it makes not to have lots of photos of family hanging up. It keeps you entangled in your past .. whatever you were living through at that time.

It was really weird tonight looking into my 6 year-old self's eyes.

We all have our stuff.
No one is exempt.
Chiron is our original wound, which we CAN heal.

Take a minute and send some love and encouragement to your little self. That little you is still alive within you,

It makes a difference. Tell little you what you needed to hear.

For me- I would say to her 1. Trust that little voice inside. 2. It is GOOD to be different. People look at you mean like that because you dont look like them, and they dont know what to do with that, but thats ok and will prove to be a good thing. 3. Not being accepted into cheerleaders because you cant do a split, not fitting the mold for modeling, or being part of any cliques... feeling left out, unwanted and unimportant gave you the gift of self-reliance! You need this for your future independence and freedom. Bless it and bless you little Suzy. You are not a nobody. You are loved.

Listening to The Soft Parade by the Doors.

REEEEALY nice groove... chill-jam. Any Doors fans out there?

When I was maybe 12 I used to try to channel Jim Morrison... consumed every Doors book, had the full catalogue, every song fully memorized. Hats, pins, shirts, posters wallpapering my room.
When people would ask about your favorite band and I'd say the Doors, the response was always either 'but the singer is dead' or 'their so depressing.'

Funny to look back - rejection was my life, hard. It wasn't a good time to be me back then. But, that's what got me to be creative, and teach myself programming when I was 13-14.

I get it now though. Sometimes a rocky start leads to a more realized experience later, when you keep on stepping anyway! I wouldn't change it, don't wanna relive it or wish it on anyon else, but accept it as mine and made my peace. I love my life today ❤
