I am a certified equine massage therapist. I have owned horses all of my life. I started out showing western pleasure horses, then just went to trail riding,and more recently working with and showing cutting horses. I believe our horses are athletes, they work hard for us, and just like any sports player needs to have all of those muscles taken care of so do your horses. There are a lot of benefits to massage therapy, it can alleviate pain, reduce swelling,reduces muscle spasms and cramping,breaks down scar tissue,and improves over all athletic performance, just to name a few.
