Welcome home, Oaklen James 🩵

Our sweet boy made his arrival at 35 weeks and 4 days, a little earlier — and a lot faster — than we ever expected. He came unexpectedly and almost didn’t wait long enough for us to make it to the hospital in time.

What we thought might be a short stay turned into three weeks in the NICU, filled with learning patience, celebrating tiny milestones, and watching our little fighter grow stronger every single day.

There were moments that felt heavy, but also so many that reminded us how incredible these tiny humans are. Oaklen showed us what strength really looks like.

Today, after 21 days in the NICU, we are finally HOME. 🤍

We are beyond grateful for the nurses, doctors, and everyone who cared for our boy like he was their own, and for the friends and family who supported us through every update, prayer, and message.

Oaklen James, you are already so loved.
