Has anyone else been noticing that mostly restaurants and now some other business establishments are charging customers extra 3% if you use your credit card? Plus, I have noticed that the restaurants are automatically charging 20% gratuity to your check. Then they charge taxes on top of the tip which I feel is so wrong.

I am a small business owner of Planet Health in Ellisville, and I just cannot start charging my customers who uses their credit cards for payment. I do prefer cash as stated on the notice posted at my store. But I see that as a cost of doing business. As a customer, what are your thoughts on this? Is it fair to the customers? I know that I don't like it when restaurants try to do this to me.
