*WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?�
Sometimes it's good to let go of expectations! Every float is unique and often provides YOU with what you need currently. You may need space to meditate, or you may need to allow your mind to fully engage with a creative idea you have been working on. ��

*HOW MUCH DOES A FLOAT COST?
$60 for one hour of floating! You will havea total of two hours exclusive access to the entire space!
*WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? Your birthday suit! �The float room is private and equipped with a personal shower �! Bathing suits will distract your float with the feel of them on your body, they are also salty and messy after your float!
*HOW LONG IS A FLOAT SESSION? Plan on being here two hours.� One hour for floatation therapy, the other for pre and post shower and relaxing in the lounge area with complimentary bottled h20/coffee/tea/light healthy snack.���
*WILL I GET DEHYDRATED OR PRUNED SKIN FROM SOAKING SO LONG? You actually absorb magnesium from the Epsom salt and your skin and hair will feel silky smooth, Epsom salt is very nourishing for skin and hair....and all of your cells!! Talk about a GLOW!
*CAN I DROWN IF I FALL ASLEEP? No, folks fall asleep All The time����. The water � is so buoyant you continue to float! The worst thing that can happen is getting some salt water in your eyes, and in the case of that, grab the fresh water squeeze bottle provided and flush them out and continue to slumber.
*WHAT IF I AM CLAUSTROPHOBIC? People with claustrophobia consistently report no problems with floating. You are always in control of your environment, you can get out at anytime. You can leave the lid open, leave the light on or listen to music during your session, this is custom tailored for your unique individual needs.
*HOW IS THE POD KEPT SPARKLING CLEAN AND SANITIZED? The pod has its own ozone purification system! It purifies the salt solution keeping it fresh, clean and bacteria free!���
it is natural, safe and extremely effective! NO BLEACH/SHOCK/CHEMICALS
The pod also has a natural air circuit vent that provides fresh air with the lid closed at all times!
*WHAT IF I WANT TO GET OUT? You are in total control of your experience! If you want to hop out, the choice is yours. However, most people find that 60 minutes passes quite quickly.�
*IS THERE A WEIGHT LIMIT? There is no weight limit per se. Clients of all shapes and sizes float. That being said, each body's weight distribution is a bit different. if you are over 300 pounds it is not a guarantee that every part of your body will not touch the bottom of the pod. You will have to test it out!
*IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT? Anyone under 18 will need parental consent. I require that a parent of a minor has had the experience of a float session here and is present for the duration of the minors first float. There is NO maximum age as long as the individual is capable of getting in and out of a standard bath tub without assistance.
*WHAT IF I AM UNSTEADY ON MY FEET AT TIMES? If you have any inclination of this, please bring someone close to assist you. If you have no problems getting in and out of a standart bath tub, you should have no problems in general.
*WHAT IF I HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM? Do NOT go in pod...please!
*DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE I FLOAT? Refrain from drinking caffeine for a few hours before floating to avoid the stimulant that may interfere with your optimal experience. It is not recommended to shave or wax 24 hours prior to floating to avoid sting from salt. Eat something light before floating as a full or empty stomach can be distracting.
*WHAT IF I DYE OR COLOR MY HAIR? Your hair will get wet no matter what! Even though the water is neutral and the Epsom salt is not at all harsh , if you dye your hair you will need to wait 10 days to ensure your
hair is set. RED DYE will require 30 days to set! If no color bleeds out into your shower, that is a good indication you can float. You cannot float if you have Henna coloring or henna tattoos. If you have had a keratin treatment, professionals recommend staying out of salt water. If you have glued in hair extensions it is also not recommended to be in salt water. When in doubt, ask your stylist�.
*WHAT IF I SPRAY TANNED? Leave a minimum of 72 hours after a spray tan before floating.
*DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING? If you wear contacts it is a good idea to bring a case, your solution and your glasses. You may also want to bring your personal toiletries such as brush, comb, deodorant, make up, curling iron...etc. I provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair detangler, body lotion, earplugs, salve to cover minor abrasions prior to floating, q tips, a hairdryer...and probably some other things I'm forgetting to mention��
*DO I REMOVE MY JEWELRY? Costume jewelry, mixed alloy, silver needs to be removed as the salt may damage. Gold and stainless steel will be fine, just a little crusty from the salt!�
*IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN'T FLOAT? If you have any of the following you can not float.
*Infectious skin or respiratory disorders
*OPEN wounds
*Epilepsy
*Serious mental disorders
*Dementia or Alzheimer's
*Incontinence (self-explanatory)
*You are intoxicated in any way
*Minors without parental consent
*IS IT OK TO FLOAT IF I HAVE ECZEMA OR PSORIASIS? This is a personal call, you are allowed to for sure. Some people have reported their skin going from bright red to a dull pink.
*IF I HAVE/HAD TUBES IN MY EARS OR AM PRONE TO EAR INFECTIONS CAN I FLOAT? Yes, I provide Mack's reusable ear plugs as these are good for sensitive ears. You may feel more comfortable checking with your physician as well.���
*I AM ALLERGIC TO SULFONAMIDES AKA "SULFA" DRUGS, WILL I BE OK IN A FLOAT POD? Sulfa drugs are a class of antibiotics totally unrelated to Magnesium Sulfate(Epsom salt). The float pod has approximately 1000 pounds of pharmaceutical grade Magnesium sulfate. People with sulfa allergies float without complications.
*CAN COUPLES FLOAT TOGETHER? Ellsworth Therapeutic Float does not offer couples floats. We have a one pod wonder that is optimal for one person, we have one stand up shower that can not facilitate two people showering at the same time. That being said, please consider scheduling two floats back to back and enjoy separate floats with separate showering times and a day full of couples bliss!
*CAN I FLOAT IF I AM PREGNANT. Yes!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY ���! Most pregnant woman LOVE to float through their second and third trimester as it relieves joint stress and swelling. I provide an under water child's surfboard so a pregnant woman can actually float on her belly with her hands, arms, head resting on the surfboard...ahhhh, if this had been available for me all those years ago....�
