The preschool through the fifth grade came to sing and play instruments for us. Their beautiful music filled our halls. We are so fortunate to be able to have the kids come. Thanks to Joy and everyone involved.

We had a great start to National Nursing Home Week. In the morning, we had our monthly Resident Council meeting. Then in the afternoon, we had a small program with our administrator, Denny, as the MC. Our Mayor, Collette, read the proclamation to officially start NNH week. Then our County Commissioner, Gene spoke about different county matters and last, we had a representative from Leading Age of Minnesota tell us a lot of interesting facts. We ended the program with our one and only Galen Benton with his accordion.

The high school choir came and sang for us today. They did a great job and created lots of smiles. We told them the only thing they did wrong was they weren’t here long enough. Thanks to Joy and the singers

Some of our crafty residents made homemade flowers out of napkins, coffee filters, and cupcake holders. We created this beautiful tree for the lobby.

On Monday, some of Bill’s family kept his 100 year celebration going. They gave Lois S. (nurse, dancer and friend) a flower to wear while dancing with Bill. A great time was had by all.

Some of the staff at the Security Savings Bank came this afternoon to help us play Jokereno. We all had a great time. They even brought root beer floats and a bag of goodies for a treat. Thanks so much!

Ellsworth High School had their Prom last Friday eve. The residents got to enjoy seeing them all dressed up
Will be sharing more as as we receive them from the staff. Maggie is a CNA our facility.
