Fun fact: 2025 was license renewal year for massage therapists. Yes, in order to practice/complete massage, all massage therapists are required to hold individual state icensure and complete 24 continuing education credits every 2 years (and CPR certification)-- regardless of place of employment.

A significant part of my continuing education has been completed on migraines, headaches, and tension headaches. As one who personally suffers from migraines, I know firsthand how debilitating they can be. I do incorporate some specific head and neck techniques into massage sessions, however, I felt the need to offer this specific treatment option to use my skillset for more function based outcomes. If you are not familiar with me, I love science! Educating on the "how and why" combined modalities work together to offer relief is something that I am passionate about!

This session is ideal for those suffering from headaches, migraines, head, neck, or facial tension; offering a natural, non-invasive approach to pain relief and mental clarity. This session utilizes therapeutic massage techniques along with other modalities to the face, scalp/head, neck, and shoulders. The session is then finished with a 10-minute red light therapy treatment. Red light therapy isn't just the new and upcoming trend. There is so much science behind the benefits of red light therapy! Together, these modalities assist in reducing inflammation, calm nerves, stimulate lymphatic drainage, (and much more) helping to relieve tension.
