Happy Friday y'all!

It's supposed to be cloudy/ rainy here this weekend in Central Kansas. Sunglasses are just as important on those days as they are on sunny days, especially when driving! Polarized lenses can actually help you see through the light bouncing off of raindrops. It makes it easier to navigate roads and road hazards. Brown lenses or green lenses tend to let more light in with better contrasting properties. Pretty neat!

There were three things that made me want to start my own optical business:

Lack of access to local, quality, affordable eyewear.

Lack of care for the elderly who can't get to optical shops to have their glasses adjusted or measured or dispensed.

Passion for helping people see with their glasses AND looking good in them.

I passed my ABO Basic Certification test in 2022, and will soon be able to test for my Advanced Certification, and I'm so excited for that.

God gave me many gifts and talents. I never could have imagined where this road of life would take me, but here I am, with a year old mobile optical business, living back in Central Kansas, ready and excited to give back to the community.

Just some deep thoughts this evening. I truly love working in opticianry and pray that lines up with where I'm supposed to be headed.
