We were so excited to welcome Karly and Reese from the Elmhurst Art Museum to The Roosevelt at Salt Creek this morning, along with the Good Day Chicago team, to share the story of an exciting new partnership.

Thanks to a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, the Elmhurst Art Museum’s new Mobile Museum program is expanding into the community bringing original artwork, contemporary design, and hands-on creative experiences directly to residents.

This innovative program creates new opportunities to view original art, explore modern architecture, and participate in engaging art-making activities right here at The Roosevelt.

We’re proud to be part of a program that brings creativity, culture, and connection to our residents. 🎨

We’re excited to partner with The Elmhurst Art Museum to bring its Mobile Museum program to the Roosevelt at Salt Creek today!

The program brings original contemporary artwork directly into the community, where museum educators guide residents through an interactive experience with wonderful artwork, thoughtful discussion, and a hands-on art activity.

This partnership is all about lifelong learning, creativity, and staying connected to the cultural life of Elmhurst. Experiences like this spark memories, conversation, and curiosity... and that’s exactly the kind of environment we aim to create every day at The Roosevelt.

We were thrilled to have The Roosevelt’s Executive Director on Good Day Chicago (FOX 32) this morning talking about the program, and for our residents to participate later this afternoon!

Congratulations to Roosevelt residents Charlie and Pat, who are celebrating an incredible 59 years of marriage! ❤️

They were married during the legendary blizzard of 1967, and nearly six decades later, their love is still going strong. We’re so happy to celebrate this wonderful milestone with them.
