🌞 As the seasons shift, let’s embrace the benefits of sunshine, outdoor time, and nourishing foods!
Getting enough sunlight uplifts our mood and increases vitamin D levels - essential for boosting our immune system and overall health.
Spending time outdoors connects us to nature and can reduce stress. In Japan, they use the practice of “Shinrin-Yoku” or “forest bathing” as a means to de-stress and boost their overall health and well-being. Forest bathing is simply spending time in the forest to reap its many health benefits. So take the dog for a walk at your local forest preserve or the kids to a nature playscape! 🌳🦌 (COMMENT PLAYSCAPE for our favorite local spots!)
Pair that with taking in seasonal whole foods, and you’ll fuel your body with the nutrients it craves. Balance the upcoming cooler weather with warm, cooked foods! 🥘😋
