A GREAT turnout! Thank you Clay County Hospital and Medical Clinics for allowing us the opportunity to support your education efforts!

We had a fantastic turn out last week at our first annual Medicare A, B, C's Information Session! As a result, we have created a new page on our website for helpful Medicare information and have also uploaded the three documents we passed out at the info session last week.

If you or a family member needs that info or for extra copies, it is easily accessible now right on our page under "Patient & Visitor Information". Please feel free to share!

If you’re looking over your options for Medicare in 2026 and aren’t sure what to make of all the plans and supplements, we’re here to help!

During Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period, you have until Dec. 7 to choose the plan that best fits where you are in your health journey.

Remember, you as the Medicare beneficiary are in control. Be informed.

Don't get duped during OEP by high-pressure tactics or deceptive marketing! Protect your personal information, be wary of unsolicited contact, get all details in writing, and verify-verify-verify!

As Medicare’s Open Enrollment begins, you will receive calls and mail from different insurance companies about the plans that they offer. You can use this marketing information to compare your options. If you have questions about any of the benefits that a plan offers, it is best to contact the plan directly. If you are thinking about changing your plan, you do not have to make the decision right away. You can take time to go over your choices and make an informed decision. You can also consult with a representative from your State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for individualized counseling around these decisions.

If you think you have experienced marketing violations, you should report it. You can report marketing violations to your local Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) or SHIP.
