GIBBONS FUNERAL HOME WELCOMES ROBERT "BOB" CHAPELLE AS ASSOCIATE FUNERAL DIRECTOR
A familiar name in funeral services in Elmhurst and surrounding communities has joined the staff at Gibbons Funeral Home in Elmhurst. Bob Chapelle comes to Gibbons, having served families in the Elmhurst area for nearly 40 years.
"I've always admired the Gibbons Family, through all of the generations of ownership from the grandparents to their son Tommy, to Marya and Tom today. To see this legacy of service survive and grow from one generation to the next, to the next, is just something so rare and so special" states Bob. He adds, "I'm absolutely overjoyed to be joining that legacy and serving families at this very special place". Having taken care of hundreds and hundreds of families here, over several decades, creates a profound covenant with each of those families. In addition to those wonderful families there are the Houses of Worship that have been a privilege to work with too, like Mary Queen of Heaven, IC, Visitation, along with Immanuel Lutheran, St. Demitrios, Church of our Savior and Bob's own beloved parish of St. Charles of Borromeo and Grace Lutheran in Bensenville. There are so many more who have been such a big part of Bob's service over the years.
