I am a Army veteran with 20 plus years of experience working with patients in psychiatric hospitals, state mental health facilities, lllinois Department of Corrections, and in private practice. I enjoy doing this by using humor, genuine care, and respect of each individual to create a serene therapeutic environment. Through emphatic listening, relaxation exercises, cognitive behavior therapy, clients are able to persevere in pursuance of achieving their goal. In my practice, I offer individual, group,couple, and family therapy for children and adults. I work with clients experiencing life transitions with depression, anxiety, grief, loss, trauma, and addictions.
