He is a graduate of York Community High School, Class of 1990. He then graduated from the University of Dayton, where he played football and ran track & field at the collegiate level. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then attended the University of Louisville, School of Medicine, where he earned a Doctor of Medicine degree. He completed both his Oral and Maxillofacial surgery specialty training and General Surgery internship at the University of Louisville Hospital. He is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. Dr. Loeser's clinical interests include the removal of impacted third molars under IV anesthesia, dental implants, facial and oral pathology, corrective (orthognathic) jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma, management of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders and salivary gland diseases, facial reconstruction of bones and soft tissue to restore traumatic defects and to prepare for dental implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation. He has staff privileges at Lutheran General Hospital where he takes oral surgery and facial trauma emergency call. He is happily married with four children, William, Brian, Coralyn, and Andrew. Dr. Loeser holds a black belt rank in Kodokan Judo, and a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He also enjoys skiing, reading philosophy, coaching his sons in hockey and wrestling, and live music.
