While we are happy this pup knew where to go when he needed help, we don't treat four-legged patients at AOMC! If you know this dog please call 607-737-4429. The dog will be held by our public safety team this morning, until the team is able to bring them over to Elmira Animal Control.

UPDATE: Our four legged friend was discharged from AOMC and is with Elmira Animal Control!

We are pleased to announce that Registered Nurse Jessica Teeter has been selected as the next recipient of the UMatter Employee Recognition Award.

Jessica is being honored for her quick thinking and courageous actions during a medical emergency on New Year’s Eve. While dining at a local restaurant, Jessica noticed a fellow patron choking and showing signs of severe distress. Without hesitation, she stepped in and performed the Heimlich maneuver, successfully dislodging the obstruction. Thanks to her calm and decisive response, the individual was able to breathe again, and a life was saved.
Jessica’s actions are a powerful reminder that preparedness, compassion, and the willingness to act can make a life‑saving difference. Please join us in commending her for this extraordinary act.

It was a day to celebrate lucky number 13! Arnot Ogden School of Nursing proudly celebrated 13 new graduates to help care for our community.

The graduation ceremony included a pinning ceremony, with the graduates having a pin placed on them by their loved ones. To further commemorate the night, awards were given out, the Nightingale Pledge was recited, and a traditional nursing candle lighting ceremony was conducted.

Join us in congratulating these fine 13 graduates on their accomplishment.

Arnot Ogden Medical Center, a member of Centralus Health, has been designated as an ACR Prostate Cancer MRI Center by the American College of Radiology (ACR), completing the facility’s full portfolio of ACR certifications across its medical imaging services.

This designation confirms that Arnot’s prostate MRI program meets the ACR’s rigorous national standards for image quality, safety protocols, equipment performance, and clinical expertise.
