That's a wrap on another fa-boo-lous event! We're beaming with pride and gratitude for everyone who contributed to the success of our Halloween Party. The activities team, dietary, housekeeping, RCAs, families, visitors, and residents all deserve a big round of applause for their hard work and dedication. And to Doc Possum, our fantastic entertainer, thank you for bringing the house down! This was a true team effort, and we're honored to have shared it with all of you.

Some of the many places staff and residents have hidden our spooky, scary skeleton- because nothing says team bonding like a friendly game of hide-and-seek with a bony buddy!

Join in on the fun! If you spot it while you're visiting, snap a photo or take a selfie with it, move the skeleton to a new hiding spot (common area's only), and make sure to post your photo and tag us on Facebook!

We would like to gently remind everyone that this event is exclusively for the families of our residents, staff, and volunteers and is not open to the public. While we genuinely wish we could include everyone, we hope you understand our need to limit attendance. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to celebrating with all of our Woodbrook families on October 24th at our annual Halloween Party!

Hey there! I’m Don Deane, a retired correctional officer and a former employee of Kennedy Valve. I’ve been living at Woodbrook for about a year and a half now, and I’ve got to say, my favorite thing here is definitely Happy Hour! The staff are fantastic, and there’s always something fun going on. I really enjoy the chance to socialize with both the staff and my neighbors. Another great perk is that my medications are delivered right to me when I need them, so I don’t have to stress about missing any. Plus, the driver is super helpful and takes us to and from our medical appointments, which is such a relief!

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Dietary Director to lead our dietary department!

As our Dietary Director, you'll be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of our dietary services. Your leadership will ensure that our residents receive the highest standards of care in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications:
Degree or certification in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility strongly preferred.
Strong leadership, managerial, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of state and federal dietary regulations.
ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain.

It was grandparents day on September 7th, so naturally we threw a Donuts with Grandparents extravaganza! Residents brought their families and everyone had a fabulous time hanging out!
