Age 96, of Elmira, NY, passed away on Tuesday. April 28, 2026, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. He was born on July 28, 1929, in Buffalo, NY to the late Roy and Dorothy Henry. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Henry, grandson, Mikie Phillips, brothers, Jack and Donald Henry and sisters, Marge Copp, Jean Wiedmann and Alice Dame. Bob is survived by his son, Robert J. (Deborah) Henry of Owego, NY; daughter, Dorothy (J. Mike) Phillips of Horseheads; brother, Richard (Catherine) Henry of NJ; grandchildren, Jennifer Henry, Patrick Henry, Brian henry, Ben Phillips and Robert (Philecia) Phillips; great-grandson, Hudson Phillips; along with several special nieces and nephews. Bob was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War and retired from RKB Enterprises after many years of service. He was a member of the Elmira Heights American Legion and volunteered for the Handicap Bowling League. Bob loved sports, especially horseshoes and softball and was especially proud of seeing his great-grandson play baseball. Private services will take place at the convenience of the family. With heavy hearts the family shares the passing of Margaret. Age 85, of Horseheads, NY passed away on April 23, 2026, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY surrounded by her family. Peggy was born in Elmira on August 9, 1940, daughter of the late John and Agnes (Smith) Rathbun. Peggy was a lifelong resident of Elmira. She attended Elmira Free Academy, where she met the love of her life, William Whitford Jr... Peggy loved to sing in which she sang with the Sts. Peter & Paul's Church Choir. She also enjoyed coloring numerous pictures later in life. Peggy is survived by her loving husband, William; children, William III (Karen) Whitford, Peter (Judy) Whitford, Terry (Mary Beth) Whitford, Michelle (Michael) McGuirk and Todd Whitford; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, whom she loved dearly with all her heart. Presently, no services will be held for Peggy.

Age 62, of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at home following a lengthy illness. Marty was born in Elmira on June 9, 1963, son of the late Catherine "Kay" Russell and stepfather, Roy Russell, birthfather, Charles Bertsche. Marty is survived by his sister, Marcy; brothers, John and Charles; nieces, Karen and Lisa; nephew, Gary; several great nieces and nephews; many friends and co-workers. Marty was employed by Knappy's Auto Body Shop in Horseheads, NY. Marty enjoyed attending concerts and in the recent past, traveling. In Lieu of flowers, please donate in memory of Marty to Hospice, CareFirst NY at 3805 Meads Creek Rd., Painted Post, NY 14870. A memorial service and celebration of life will be announced later.

Age 62, of Erin, NY, passed away on April 14, 2026, at home. He was born in Elmira, NY on September 23, 1963, to the late Carleton and Jean Ann Brink Sr. He was predeceased by his sister, Sherry Kass. Carl is survived by his wife, Gerri Brink; children, Jennifer Brink, Jay (Ashley) Brink and Allison Sebring; brothers, Kelly Brink, Danny Brink and Stacy Brink; sister, Wendy Brink; grandchildren, Cayden Brink, CJ Brink, Alana Brink and Brayden Sebring; along with several nieces and nephews. Carl was employed as the caretaker of Maplehurst Mobile Home Park for many years. He was a member of the Horseheads Moose and the Elmira Heights American Legion. Age 79, of Leesburg, FL, formerly of Elmira, NY passed away in Leesburg on January 20, 2026. Joe was born in Elmira on October 11, 1946, son of the late Serfino Sr. and Sarafina (Monterosso) Minotti. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Louis and Vincent Minotti, along with his sister-in-law, Jacqueline Minotti. Joe was a sergeant serving in United States Air Force and retired as a supervisor from a Painters Union employed by Disney World in Orlando, FL. Joe will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Joe is survived by his brothers, Serfino Jr. (Anita) Minotti and Jim (Patricia) Minotti; nieces, nephew and several cousins and sister-in-law, Roberta Minotti. It was Joe’s request that no services be held for him and that he be laid to rest in St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Sally Ann Lynady - Ehrhardt-Adams-Buchler

Age 79, of Elmira Heights, NY passed away on March 29, 2026, at the Corning Center in Corning, NY. Sally was born in Elmira, NY on August 23, 1946, daughter of the late Robert and Betty (Smith) Patton. Sally survived by her loving husband, David, which married on May 5, 2017. Sally graduated with David in 1964 from Thomas Edison High School in Elmira Heights. She is also survived by her daughter, Jill Scott of Horseheads, NY; son, Steven Ehrhardt in Joplin, Missouri; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Damien, Erica, Samantha and Vanessa; 4 great grandchildren. Sally began her work experience at the age of 17 employed by Corning Glass in Big Flats, NY. Sally loved making crafts, specially making grapevine flower wreaths. Her favorite pastime was making beaded necklaces and bracelets. Many of her friends received these and loved them. She had a huge collection of paperback books which she loved to read them. Her greatest passion was the affection she received from her beloved dachshund, "Snickers," whom she lost after 16 years. Family and friends are invited to call Friday, April 3, 2026, from 11am to 12 pm at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 12 pm with Fr. Scott Kubinski officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

She was predeceased by her twins, Sean and Rachael LaVigne. Julie is survived by her husband, James Dallas; children, Joyce (Travis) Ruiz, Sherri Patterson, Jessica (John) Allen, Aubrey Jade and Jason LaVigne; sisters, Tasha Walburn and Jamie Walburn; brother, James Walburn Jr.; stepmom, Maja-Lis Walburn; grandmother, Marjorie Walburn; aunt, Terry (David) Wheaton; grandchildren, Sydney Barnes, Brayden Fethers, Jacob Patterson and Alexander Allen; along with several nieces and nephews. Age 76 of Elmira Heights, NY, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026. He was born on August 1, 1949, in Elmira, NY to the late Tracey and Elizabeth Rapalee. He was predeceased by his brother, David Rapalee. Jack is survived by his children, Billy Rapalee and Stacey (David Johns) Rapalee and their mother, Sandra Rapalee; sister, Linda Mills; grandchildren, Makenzie Bullock and Mason Rapalee. He was a very dedicated worker and retired from Valu Home Centers after many years of service. Jack loved to play Euchre every Tuesday Night at Beef’s and was in the Friday Night No Tap Bowling League with his son at Crystal Lanes. He was a true Buffalo Bills fan and was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to go camping. A Celebration of Life for Jack will take place at a later date.
