Studies show that about 1 in 7 men will have some form of prostate cancer in their lives. Most prostate cancers (about 90%) are caught early on and either successfully treated or diagnosed as indolent. Unfortunately, many men with indolent prostate cancer still undergo avoidable surgical procedures which can lead to pain, urinary incontinence, and even impotence. The 4Kscore® Test helps clarify

the biopsy decision-making process by determining a patient's specific risk of aggressive (Gleason score 7 or higher) prostate cancer without the need for an invasive surgical procedure. The 4Kscore® Test combines measured blood levels of four kallikrein proteins with clinical information into a proprietary algorithm to calculate an individual man’s percent risk of aggressive prostate cancer if a biopsy were performed.
