Melissa is a lifelong athlete, she set three high school track records before continuing her athletic pursuits playing club sports at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
She began her professional career in higher education, but it was her passion for movement that led her back to fitness. She is a NASM certified Personal Trainer with certifications also in group fitness specializing in HIIT, strength, and SAQ (speed, agility, and quickness). Melissa is passionate about helping people build functional strength, improve mobility (not just flexibility!), and gain confidence inside and outside the gym.
She brings high energy and a dose of humor to every session, and she can’t wait to help reNew members move better, feel stronger, and discover what they’re truly capable of.
