Wall balls are one of the most efficient full-body conditioning moves—you are combining a squat + explosive throw + cardio in one exercise. Here’s why they’re so effective:

Melissa is a lifelong athlete, she set three high school track records before continuing her athletic pursuits playing club sports at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

She began her professional career in higher education, but it was her passion for movement that led her back to fitness. She is a NASM certified Personal Trainer with certifications also in group fitness specializing in HIIT, strength, and SAQ (speed, agility, and quickness). Melissa is passionate about helping people build functional strength, improve mobility (not just flexibility!), and gain confidence inside and outside the gym.

She brings high energy and a dose of humor to every session, and she can’t wait to help reNew members move better, feel stronger, and discover what they’re truly capable of.

Catch Melissa on the schedule on Tuesday’s at 9AM, Wednesday’s at 9AM and 5:15PM!!

Let’s give some love to Emma, our dedicated instructor and co-founder of as she completes her final week of teaching at almost 39 weeks pregnant, before she heads on maternity leave to welcome baby #3!!!

She has truly been an inspiration, crushing classes, throwing down demos like a pro, and showing up for our community with all of her amazing energy!!

Her last classes are this Saturday 9:15AM, Tuesday 5:15PM and Thursday 6:15AM!!

Class number 400 for our girl, and a BIG MILESTONE!!

When Kate first found she explained that it was going to be challenging for her to figure out a way to make classes, her husband is a firefighter and works overnights, she is a busy mom of 3 boys, and a full time teacher!!

Well….fast forward…

She shows up 4-6xs a week at 6:15AM to dedicate 45 minutes to her health, her strength, and improving the longevity of her life!! She always walks in the door with a smile on her face and a positive attitude and her determination is unmatched!! She is the true testament to “NO EXCUSES” and we could not be more proud of her!!
