Injuries happen for a number of different reasons specifically physical stress, emotional stress, diet, and lack of rest and recovery.
Generally speaking, we want to make sure we are maintaining a good balance of strain and recovery to minimize our risk of injury.
Having said that, sometimes we’re just unlucky

We are not fragile creatures!
I often hear of health professionals scaring patients and clients into not moving their bodies as much as they should or making them scared to push themselves due to fear of injury. Too often this leads to fear of movement in general. This is unacceptable from our profession and we need to be better. Make sure the person you're seeing understands your goals and the demands of your life.
Stay strong and keep doing fun things!
