There was a post. Information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Bats can transmit rabies. Human and animal contact with bats should be minimized or avoided. If a person is bitten by a bat; the bat should be collected for testing. Postexposure prophylaxis may be recommended.

A few changes at the clinic:
1. The clinic will be closed Monday, May 29, 2023 for Memorial Day.
2. Clinic hours on Thursdays will change to 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm (last appointment at 6:30 pm). This change will be effective June 1, 2023.
3. School and sports physicals may be scheduled by calling the clinic during business hours. The physicals are $30 cash price. A $5 discount will be given to the first 10 scheduled physical appointments.

Healthy Blue is pending a final review of the contract is being delayed by credentialing
Humana, as of effective date of 5/1/2023
United Healthcare
Blue Cross Blue Shield including Network Blue, Select Blue Choice, and Premier Select Blue, Medicare Advantage. I have not received a start date as yet.

The clinic hours have changed.
Monday. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10 am to 4 pm
Wednesday 10 am to 12 pm for telehealth only.

Acute Care is still being offered same day appointments during clinic hours.

I will take primary care patients that are not complex, or those who should or do see an Internal Medicine or Specialty provider.

If you are over 40 years old, the United States Preventative Services Task Force recommends an annual physical assessment with laboratory studies.

I am doing routine foot & nail care for cash,( $25) unless diabetic, peripheral vascular disease or "poor circulation, on Medicare (Medicare covers foot care by a specialist if the patient has certain conditions).

I may also perform Medicare Annual Health Risk Assessments if it has been 366 days since your last annual HRA.

I am accepting appointments for school/Sports physicals. Cash ($30) or will file with insurance if there is a benefit with your plan.

I am also offering cash weight management or will consider filing with insurance if you have a benefit with your plan.

Until further notice:
Beginning Wednesday, March 22, 1023 the Clinic will have only telehealth by appointment from 10 am to 11130 am, and will be closed from noon until reopening on Thursdays from 10 am to 4 pm.
The change is hopefully temporary until the clinic is busier.

I will be offering School Physicals and Sport Physicals for $30 each. Please schedule an appointment. The required physical form needs to be brought to the appointment with the patient/parent sections(s) filled out.

I have been notified I am in network with Humana, and the Blue Cross Blue Shield contract is signed, but I am waiting to receive an effective date.
I am in network with United Healthcare. But a gliche has to be dealt with by the credentialing staff.
