🌿 Although I’ve been part of this wonderful community of Elmwood and surrounding communities for over a year, I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself.
I’m Elissa McGill, a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP), offering trauma-informed therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, postpartum transitions, and relationship challenges. My practice is grounded in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a profound commitment to helping individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered.

My passion for mental health care stems from a deep-rooted desire to support individuals in their journey toward emotional well-being and resilience. Over the years, I have witnessed how therapy can provide a transformative space for people to confront challenges, develop new perspectives, and embrace personal growth. These experiences, along with my academic background and practical training, have shaped my commitment to becoming a compassionate and effective therapist.
I worked with diverse populations, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, postpartum, and relational difficulties. These experiences reinforced the importance of empathy, active listening, and cultural sensitivity in fostering trust and facilitating change.
As a mental health therapist, I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. My goal is to guide individuals through their challenges, help them rediscover their strengths, and support them in building meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Good morning. I am pleased to announce that I have relocated my practice from Lincoln to Elmwood, Nebraska. I am now better positioned to serve the rural communities of Eagle, Louisville, Weeping Water, Syracuse, Nebraska City, Plattsmouth and other surrounding communities!I have availability and accept most insurance providers.
