Kalimba Making Workshop at Mebane Public Library on Wednesday, February 25 at 4 p.m.

Ages 7 – 12. Come decorate a playable African thumb piano called a Kalimba and learn to play a simple tune on it! Participants will also learn about other African and African American folk instruments like the banjo and the diddley bow, and instruments will be available for hands-on exploration during the second half of the program. Registration for this program opens on Wednesday February 11th and is required to participate. Space is also limited. To register, call (919) 563-6431.

⭐ We are continuing our centennial celebration next month with Speed Puzzing: 100 Pieces for 100 Years! 🧩 Race against the clock, and each other, at this amateur speed puzzling program. Individuals will complete a 100-piece jigsaw puzzle within an hour in a fun, friendly competition. The individual with the fewest leftover pieces wins!
