Surf’s up! Yesterday one of our therapists Hannah had the opportunity to volunteer for the surfing event for individuals with spinal cord injuries and various other disabilities. With over 650+ volunteers and 100+ surfers, the beach was thriving! It was an incredible experience to empower others and give back to the community! Follow their page if you are interested in supporting next year! 🏄🏼‍♀️

☀️ Summer Heat? Keep Your Recovery On Track! ☀️
Don’t let the summer heat sideline your progress!

Just because it’s blazing outside doesn’t mean your recovery should slow down. Staying consistent with your physical therapy is key—even when the temps rise! 💪

✅ Tips for Safe Summer Rehab:
🌡️ Hydrate like it’s your job – water = your best recovery buddy
🧴 Protect your skin – SPF up before any outdoor therapy
⏰ Move early or late – avoid the midday sun
🏠 Indoor gains count too – bands, foam rolling, and bodyweight moves = golden

Stay cool, stay moving, and let’s make this your strongest summer yet. 🌞

June is National Scoliosis Awareness Month—a reminder to check in on your spine and posture.

Scoliosis is an abnormal curve of the spine that can cause pain, limited mobility, and postural imbalances. Many people don’t realize they have it until symptoms worsen.

Physical therapy helps by:
– Correcting posture
– Strengthening muscles
– Improving mobility and balance
– Reducing pain with targeted exercises

If you notice uneven shoulders or posture changes, a physical therapist can help. Early care leads to better outcomes.
