What made you choose to work in long term care? - "There is something that comes naturally when caring for others and that’s how I knew I was where I wanted to be."

What is your favorite part about working at Elwood health and living - "The connections I have made with the residents and staff!"

How do you like to spend your time when you aren't working- "I enjoy hanging out with family and relaxing."

The education professions class at Hinds Career Center came by today to visit with our residents! They came out for Move & Groove and Bingo! We are so thankful for them to spend their time here!

It is amazing the joy a pet can bring! Today, the residents were given the royal treatment with a visit from Duchess. They enjoyed watching her do tricks, feeding her treats and learning fun facts about standard poodles 🐩

Please help us in congratulating our employee of the month, Dawn!

Dawn is part of our fantastic dietary team. She has been with the company for 4 years and her hard work and dedication is inspiring as she is truly appreciated by staff and residents alike.

Her favorite part of working at Elwood Health and Living is her residents who she loves and has a friendship with. She enjoys talking and laughing with all of them and loves to make their day better however she can.

When she is not working she loves spending time with her family!
