She enjoys favorites like sushi, cheeseburgers, Carmelo bars, and Sour Patch Kids, and loves movies like Titanic and Harry Potter.

As we continue throughout Osteoporosis and Arthritis Awareness month, did you know that about 33 million U.S. adults have Osteoarthritis (OA)?

People with OA may experience a wide range of symptoms. These can include:
• Joint pain, especially when moving the joint.
• Stiffness after resting a joint.
• Swelling in and around the joint, especially after using it a lot.
• Feeling like the joint is loose or unstable.
• Less ability to move the joint.

Meet Heidi, who has been a dedicated RN at EBCH for 30 years, bringing compassion, experience, and a strong commitment to patient care.

She enjoys favorites like Highway 169 Pizza from the Boathouse, ribeye steak, lasagna, and Snickers bars, and loves watching Richard Gere movies.

In her free time, Heidi enjoys quilting, hand crocheting, pine needle basket making, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. She finds her work deeply meaningful, making a difference in patients’ lives while working alongside a strong and supportive healthcare team. Heidi says, “After 30 years, I continue to value the commitment to quality care, mutual respect, and the sense of purpose that comes with serving this community and working at EBCH”.

Meet Zandi! Zandi has been a dedicated Pharmacy Technician at EBCH for nearly 15 years, bringing care and consistency to her role while helping patients get the medications they need. She values working alongside a great team and making a difference in patient care every day.

She keeps energized with lots of black coffee and chocolate-covered espresso beans, and enjoys reading anything related to Arthurian legends.

Outside of work, Zandi loves spending time outdoors, gardening, tackling house projects, and getting creative with arts and crafts. Her home is full of life with a horse, dog, cats, chickens, and even a bearded dragon!
