I’m over it. Winter has a way of making our bodies stiff and our energy low. Lately, I’ve been moving my body with gym classes and chilly walks outside.

But if that’s not your thing, this is also the perfect time for gentle movements.

Your body is sneaky. It doesn’t just feel stress, -it stores it.
And the 3 most common hiding spots?
👉 Jaw (hello teeth grinding)
👉 Shoulders (that “rock” feeling)
👉 Hips (why is it always the hips?!😭)

✨Quick reset: take 30 seconds to gently massage one of those spots right now. Even better, ask someone near you for a quick 30 massage trade on the shoulders! Notice how your body softens when you give it a little attention.

Grab some tennis balls and work out those knots! I keep these in my work bag and use them ALL the time!
✨Put them between your back and the wall, slide up and down a bit, and get the nagging spots between your shoulder blades
✨Take off your shoes and roll them under feet
✨ Use them on your glutes! Either place them between the wall and your glutes, and roll them towards your hip. Or get on the floor and roll it under one glute at a time! This can be intense but it can feel so good!

Just a couple minutes with these tennis balls can make a huge difference when you need to work out a knot quickly!

Scheduled a 60 minute massage this past weekend during an out of town baseball tournament. Ended up getting a couples massage with a friend with only one therapist. We not only had massage, but also fire cupping, shiatsu, assisted stretching, ear massages and a facial. One therapist, 2 clients, and we both received a full body treatment in 75 minutes. I think I might need to step up my massage game after this😆
